Hannity: Trump could cure cancer and the media still wouldn’t like him

Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday ripped into media criticism of President Trump, saying journalists wouldn’t approve of the president even if he cured cancer.

Hannity said the “leftist media” blames Trump for anything that is wrong and nothing could make the press happy with Trump’s performance.

{mosads}“To the leftist media, everything is Trump’s fault,” he said. “He can’t say or do anything in their eyes that is right.”

“If President Trump could actually cure cancer, make people in wheelchairs walk, give everyone a million dollars, if he could prevent heart attacks or stop car accidents, the media still wouldn’t be happy,” he said.

Hannity added that Trump is right to express frustrations at media outlets for “expecting him to respond to them calling him a bigot and a racist every day.”

Hannity has offered Trump near-constant praise during his campaign and since taking office, and frequently attacks media coverage of Trump as unfairly critical and biased.

Trump, who has frequently attacked the “fake news” media, increased his attacks this week at a campaign-style rally in Arizona on Tuesday, calling journalists “dishonest people” who “don’t like our country.”
