Nancy Sinatra was scolded by Donald Trump Jr. and others on social media after tweeting on Wednesday that "the murderous members of the NRA should face a firing squad."

The tweet to Sinatra's 166,000 followers went largely unnoticed until it was retweeted by Trump Jr. and several media members late Wednesday into Thursday.

Sinatra, 77, later clarified she was only referring to "the murderous members of the NRA."
