Rupert Murdoch’s son has reportedly privately expressed embarrassment over some parts of Fox News’s reporting.

The New York Times reported that one of Murdoch’s sons, James Murdoch, has been skeptical of some aspects of the network’s coverage.

He has some progressive views, according to the Times, and has expressed embarrassment over Fox News’s coverage of areas such as climate change.

President Trump is known to frequently watch Fox News and often tweets about the network’s coverage of his administration.

James Murdoch was also in the spotlight in August, when he sent an email rebuking the president for his response following the events in Charlottesville, Va.

Last month, a report said that Trump had called 21st Century Fox Executive Chairman Rupert Murdoch ahead of Disney’s announcement that it would purchase much of his company, to make sure the deal wouldn’t impact Fox News.

According to a New York Times report last month, Trump made the call before news of the sale emerged.

Murdoch reportedly assured Trump the network would not be impacted by the sale.
