Following his tweet, Dilanian faced blowback from other journalists on social media later Monday afternoon, with some defending Enjeti's question.

Dilanian also retweeted several media members last week after CNN's Kaitlan Collins was barred from attending a Rose Garden event for asking what was described by the White House as "inappropriate" questions during an Oval Office meeting. Collins once worked for The Daily Caller.
