Fox News on Tuesday announced the signing of One America News Network's Trey Yingst as a general assignment reporter.

Yingst, who has served as One America’s chief White House correspondent since June 2016, will be based out of Fox's Jerusalem bureau, reporting to bureau chief Eli Fastman.

“Trey’s experience covering stories overseas has given him an extensive understanding of the global news landscape," said Jay Wallace, president of Fox News. "We are confident he will be a great asset to our international news team, covering top headlines worldwide.”

Yingst, 23, will start on Tuesday, according to the network.

“I am excited to get back to my roots covering breaking news and international events from the Jerusalem bureau for the number one cable news channel," he said in the network announcement.

Yingst was the co-founder of News2Share, an online media outlet publishing stories and multimedia content from conflict zones, while he was at American University in Washington, D.C.

During that time, Yingst was given international assignments that included reporting from Gaza, Ukraine, Rwanda and Uganda.

He is also a member of the White House Correspondents’ Association and the National Press Club.
