Kimmel airs ‘PSA’ to warn Trump that climate change could ruin his golf courses

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel aired a "PSA" on Tuesday that warned President TrumpDonald TrumpMyPillow CEO to pull ads from Fox News Haaland, Native American leaders press for Indigenous land protections Simone Biles, Vince Lombardi and the courage to walk away MORE that climate change could ruin his golf courses, as well as his exclusive waterfront resort.

The PSA, advertised by Kimmel as a "service to the president," mocks Trump by saying that "80 percent of the world’s coastal golf courses could be submerged" by 2050 due to climate change and that exclusive resorts in Florida could become "uninhabitable."

The PSA also features a picture of Trump with a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken and warns that a warming planet may cause fried food shortages. It adds that young woman will be too dehydrated to have sex with wealthy and older married men.

Kimmel's video comes amid continued warnings from scientists about the dangers that climate change could pose for populations around the world. The host notes in the segment that California just experienced its hottest month on record.

But the late-night host adds that Trump has continued to roll back policies that were implemented to combat the planet's warming.

"Somebody needs to get through to the president before it’s too late," Kimmel said. "He lives in this world, too."

Kimmel said the PSA was made with the hope that its contents would finally resonate with Trump.

Kimmel has continually criticized Trump throughout his presidency. After Trump's summit in Helsinki with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kimmel said Trump was a "liar" and "not even a good one."
