Fox Business host Lisa Kennedy Montgomery on Thursday joked about creating an obstacle course like in “American Ninja Warrior” as a way to curb immigration along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Kennedy appeared on Fox News’s “The Five” and said that only immigrants who completed the difficult course from the reality television game show should be allowed to enter the country.

“If you think about the kind of people you want to have in this country, you want people who are hardworking, people who are ethical, people who look out for their families and their communities and people who are very physically strong,” Kennedy said.

“So I think we need to set up an ‘American Ninja Warrior’ obstacle course at the border and whoever can make it — you can’t fake it — they get through,” she added.

As many as 4,000 migrants are currently traveling from Honduras through Guatemala with hopes of reaching the U.S.-Mexico border to flee poverty and violence in their home country.

President Trump on Thursday warned that he may take military action to stop immigrants from crossing the southern border into the U.S. if Mexico does not take action to stop the "onslaught."

He has also threatened to cut off aid to Honduras if the government does not intervene with the group, known as a “caravan.”

Former Vermont governor and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean called Kennedy an “idiot” on Thursday night after her remarks.

She responded by calling Dean a “humorless wretch” whose name is "synonymous with failure.”

Kennedy was also criticized by Matthew Dowd, ABC’s chief political analyst and former strategist for President George W. Bush’s 2004 presidential campaign.

He suggested that Kennedy also make the 1,000-mile journey on foot to the southern border and see how she fares in the obstacle course.

Kennedy responded by telling Dowd to “lock yourself inside your humorless fart parlor so the rest of us don’t have to hear from you.”
