Conservative commentator Dan Bongino leaving NRATV: report

Conservative commentator Dan Bongino will reportedly no longer be with the National Rifle Association’s media affiliate, NRATV, after the network opted not to renew his show.

The Daily Beast reported Monday that NRATV declined to renew Bongino’s show “We Stand” for next year, citing two sources with knowledge of the decision. The pro-Trump former Secret Service agent has hosted the show for less than a year.

Bongino removed “NRATV host” from his Twitter bio over the weekend, and tweeted that he would address his future plans on his podcast Tuesday.

{mosads}Bongino did not respond to the requests for comment from the Beast, but tweeted after the story was published that the article was “fake news.”

He did not appear to dispute that he is no longer with NRATV, though he challenged the Beast’s story.

Bongino said on Twitter Monday that he “declined a generous renewal offer.”

Bongino did not immediately reply to a request for comment from The Hill.

The prominent Trump supporter has run unsuccessfully for Congress three times.

NRATV, a digital-only streaming network, has laid off a number of people in recent months amid reports that the NRA saw revenue decline by more than $50 million in 2017.

NRATV did not have an immediate response when contacted by The Hill.
