The hiring comes as The Hill continues to ramp up its staff ahead of the 2020 election.
“What is happening today in D.C., every new twist and turn, is affecting the globe, and the team at The Hill is embedded in the storytelling of these consequential times like no other brand,” Clemons said in a statement.
“I’m so excited to be joining The Hill’s team and will work on building out new 3D journalism and thought leadership platforms that extend the considerable reach The Hill has achieved.”
