Fox News host: Dems only 'care about Russia now because it cost them an election'

Fox News host Melissa Francis said Wednesday on “Outnumbered” that Democrats only “care about Russia now because it cost them an election.”

The comment came about during a discussion about congressional Democrats' efforts to force former White House legal counsel Don McGahn to testify about what he told special counsel Robert MuellerRobert (Bob) MuellerAn unquestioning press promotes Rep. Fellow Fox News host Lisa Boothe said it was a “dumb argument for Democrats” to think interviewing McGahn would give them more information.

“He already testified for over 30 hours, this is ridiculous, it’s a sham,” Boothe said. “I am so sick and tired of the Democrat talking point that this is about Russia and getting to the bottom of that because Democrats don’t care about Russia.”

“I think they care about Russia now because it cost them an election,” Francis responded. "Don’t you think they care now?”
