Olivier Knox, the president of the White House Correspondents' Association joked about Attorney General William Barr's four-page summary of special counsel Robert Mueller's report, saying that he would deliver a whole speech.

“I have some bad news, I’m delivering the whole speech, not just a four page summary of its principal conclusions,” he said during the White House Correspondents' Dinner (WHCD).

Barr delivered a four page summary of the Mueller report last month before the Justice Department  later released a redacted version of the report.

In his summary released last month, Barr said the Mueller report did not find evidence that the Trump campaign conspired with Russia. The attorney general also concluded that there was not enough evidence to pursue an obstruction of justice charge against President TrumpDonald John TrumpOmar fires back at Trump over rally remarks: 'This is my country' Pelosi: Trump hurrying to fill SCOTUS seat so he can repeal ObamaCare Trump mocks Biden appearance, mask use ahead of first debate MORE

Barr's conclusion has been slammed by Democrats, some of whom are pushing to start impeachment proceedings against Trump.

The Mueller report said it could not concluded whether obstruction of justice had taken place, while also leaving it to Congress to decide.

The annual WHCD event is attended by lawmakers, journalists and celebrities. Trump decided not to attend for the third year in a row and urged officials to do the same.

The president instead attended a campaign rally in Wisconsin.
