Three Democrats joined all Senate Republicans to confirm him.

Bream, who worked in law and has covered the Supreme Court for Fox News, traveled to Gorsuch's home state of Colorado to interview the 52-year-old former 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals judge for the interview, which primarily tracks his road to the high court.

"I think viewers will be struck by what a down-to-earth person he is," Bream told The Hill. "We often look at the Justices as elite legal minds, with their dark robes and centuries of formalities and it can be a bit intimidating."

"He’s like talking to your favorite neighbor, no airs or pretension," the "Fox News at Night" anchor continued. "He’d rather be wetting a line on the Colorado River than working the cocktail party circuit. Both he and his wife, Louise, really opened up in a way that you rarely see a Justice and his or her family do publicly."

The interview comes as Gorsuch seeks to promote his new book, "A Republic, If You Can Keep It," which is set for release Tuesday. Fox News published an excerpt of the justice's book this week.

The special "Neil Gorsuch: Justice for the Republic," airs Sunday at 8 p.m.
