"WP, NBC, and CNN are going after me because I’m the messenger, and covering up the message, Dem corruption," he tweeted Tuesday, apparently referring to The Washington Post.

"Meanwhile, they have yet to ask Biden difficult questions because he is protected and immune like the Clintons and crooked Clinton Foundation!" he added.

Giuliani has faced scrutiny in recent days amid allegations that he tried to push Ukrainian officials to look into Biden or Biden's son to help Trump's 2020 reelection bid. He received a subpoena for documents relating to the matter on Monday.

A recently released whistleblower complaint accused Trump of pushing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to look into Biden, a Democratic presidential candidate, for his own gain. The complaint alleged that two State Department officials spoke to Giuliani "in an attempt to 'contain the damage' to U.S. national security" over his communication with Ukraine. Giuliani has denied the complaint's accusations.

A memo on Trump's call with Zelensky released by The White House said that Trump told the foreign leader he would have Giuliani talk to him.

“I will have Mr. Giuliani give you a call and I am also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to the bottom of it. I'm sure you will figure it out,” Trump said.

It was not clear whether Giuliani on Tuesday was lashing out at the news outlets regarding specific stories or interactions. The Post recently reported that the former New York City mayor would speak at a conference sponsored by the Russian government, which he later appeared to back out of.
