Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Wesley Lowery is leaving The Washington Post for CBS News, according to an internal announcement by the paper to staff members on Tuesday.

"[He] has blazed a bright trail at The Post since arriving from the Boston Globe" in 2014, reads the Post announcement.

Lowery is joining the new CBS News program "60 in 6," the new "60 Minutes"-Quibi initiative.

Quibi is a new streaming video offering that creates short-form entertainment for mobile audiences.

“60 in 6” is scheduled to launch in April on Quibi.

The 29-year-old led the Post's "Fatal Force Project," which tracks the number of people shot and killed by police.

Lowery also serves as a CNN contributor.

He is also the author of "They Can't Kill Us All: Ferguson, Baltimore, and a New Era in America's Racial Justice Movement," released in 2016.
