Fauci frequently does interviews on other major news networks.

His reported spat with Fox News comes as hosts on the network have repeatedly denounced him. Lara Logan, a host on Fox News Media's streaming service, on Monday compared Fauci to a Nazi doctor infamous for conducting human experiments at Auschwitz during the Holocaust.

He represents Josef Mengele ... the Nazi doctor who did experiments on Jews during the Second World War and in the concentration camps," Logan said on "Fox News Primetime."

Cavuto has repeatedly told viewers to get the coronavirus vaccine, especially after testing positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19 in October.

"For god's sake, think of the bigger picture here, get outside yourself and think about those you work with, those around you, think about keeping them safe," Cavuto said. "These breakthrough cases are overwhelmingly happening among immunocompromised individuals like myself."

The interview with Fauci will also appear on Fox News's "Your World with Neil Cavuto" and "Cavuto Live" on Saturday.
