Officials in the Obama administration compiled a list of classified documents related to the probe into Russian interference in the presidential election and gave it to key lawmakers before leaving office, according to NBC News.

The list of document serial numbers was created in early January and delivered by hand to senior members on the Senate Intelligence Committee, a former Obama official told NBC.

The FBI recently confirmed that it is investigating Russian election meddling, as well as any collusion between Trump aides and Russia.

In addition to the Senate committee, the House Intelligence Committee has also been investigating Russian interference in the election.
