Biden also denounced President Trump’s decision to withdraw transgender protections when he overturned an Obama-era guideline requiring schools to let transgender students choose the bathroom that corresponds with their gender identity.

At an annual Democratic Party dinner in New Hampshire last month, Biden said he had no plans to run for president in 2020.
