A man suspected of firing a gun toward counterprotesters during the violent clashes at a white supremacist earlier this month in Charlottesville, Va., has reportedly been arrested.
Richard Wilson Preston has been charged with discharging a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, CNN reported.
He was reportedly seen in a video recorded by the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia during the white supremacist march earlier this month in Virginia.
The video shows the man in a verbal altercation with counterprotesters before they begin to throw objects at the white supremacist marchers, who had gathered to protest the removal of a Confederate statue.
