A Belarusian escort who said she has audio recordings proving Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election says she has since handed over the tapes to a Russian oligarch.

Anastasia Vashukevich, who was arrested in February over unlicensed sex work in Thailand, told The Associated Press in an article published Monday that Oleg Deripaska, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, is now in possession of the tapes.

Vashukevich said she gave the recordings to Deripaska and vowed not to speak about the topic, telling the AP that he promised her “a little something” in return.

"He promised me a little something already," she said. "If he do that then there will be no problem, but if he don't ..." she said with a shrug and a smile, according to the AP.

Vashukevich has said she recorded some of Deripaska’s conversations proving interference in the 2016 presidential election. Deripaska is the former director of the top Russian aluminum company Rusal and was targeted in the Trump administration's sanctions on influential Russian business elites imposed earlier this year. He stepped down as Rusal director in May.

Vashukevich has said she was Deripaska’s mistress, and that she asked the U.S. for asylum, saying that she would share the recordings if granted asylum.

Thai officials turned down an FBI request to meet with Vashukevich and another “sex coach” to discuss the information regarding the alleged tapes.
