Musk on Tuesday tweeted praise for his rocket company, SpaceX.

"Great work by SpaceX Dragon team & Airborne," the CEO tweeted. "To be clear, we’ve only done 1 multi-parachute test of Mk3 design, so 9 more left to reach 10 successful tests in a row."

In a series of tweets on Friday, Musk, who is also the CEO of Tesla, questioned the "good of Twitter" and said that he was "going offline."

Reuters noted that this isn't the first time Musk, who has nearly 30 million followers on Twitter, has sworn off the site only to come back later.

In June, he claimed that he had deleted his Twitter account, although his account remained active.
