“Well I haven’t seen the notes,” Rubio told CBS’s “Face the Nation” when asked about a report that Trump called former FBI Director James Comey a “nut job” during the meeting earlier this month.

“I encourage them to make those notes available to the committees,” Rubio added.

Trump reportedly said during the same meeting that Comey’s firing eased “great pressure.”

Rubio in the CBS interview noted that much of the drama coming out of the White House resembled Trump’s presidential campaign.

“This White House is not much different from the campaign,” said Rubio.

“I do think the White House would benefit from some systems in place,” he added.
