Trump trolls McCain over ObamaCare repeal

President Trump on Monday harped on Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for opposing the GOP’s latest health-care bill, sharing a video of edited clips in which the lawmaker repeatedly promises to repeal and replace ObamaCare.

The montage of clips follows on another public attack in which Trump slammed the lawmaker for blocking the chance of a new health-care system for his constituents.

The bill’s success relies on the narrow support of Republicans in which it can only afford to lose two Republican votes to get the votes necessary to pass it.

Passage of the bill already largely seems doomed since McCain as well as GOP Sens. Rand Paul (Ky.) and Susan Collins (Maine) have already stated their opposition to the plan.

McCain famously gave a thumbs-down vote that proved decisive in killing the chances of a slimmed-down ObamaCare repeal bill that the GOP tried to get through the upper chamber in July.
