Hatch hits Dems for sharing wrong image in tweet blasting Kavanaugh
Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) hit the Democratic Party on Tuesday for slamming President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh with a photo of what appeared to be Judge Thomas Hardiman.
Hardiman, who was on Trump’s shortlist for the nomination to replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy, was reported to be among the final people to be seriously considered for the job.
“’Fill in the blank’ opposition keeps getting people in trouble. That’s not even Judge Kavanaugh,” Hatch’s office tweeted Tuesday.

The Democratic Party reshared the post with an actual image of Kavanaugh.
MUST READ : Let’s be clear: A vote for #KavanaughSCOTUS would be a vote to rip health care from American families and deny women their right to make their own health care choices. https://t.co/WpGjcjREEQ

Several Democratic senators have already promised to oppose Kavanaugh, including possible 2020 presidential candidates and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.).
