Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, did not tune into each other’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday.

Kavanaugh said during the hearing that he did not watch the testimony of Ford, who spoke first and accused him of sexually assaulting her at a high school party in the 1980s.

“I planned to,” he told Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), who asked him the question.

“I planned to, but I did not. I was preparing mine.”

CBS News confirmed that Ford was not watching Kavanaugh’s testimony either, although it is not clear whether she may have tuned in at some point during the duration.
