Schumer: Trump was 'agitated' during White House infrastructure meeting

"I was in the room yesterday, the president was not loud but he was agitated. And his going around and asking all the members who were in the room was he calm or not, is not the point," Schumer said during a press conference at the Capitol.
He added that Trump "walked out after three minutes and wouldn't discuss infrastructure." Asked to describe Trump more broadly, Schumer noted that he's called the president "erratic" and "helter skelter."
Schumer's comments come as Trump pushes back on Democratic accounts of the White House meeting on infrastructure, which ended abruptly after the president walked out. Trump has described himself as "calm" during the meeting, and on Thursday publicly asked White House aides to vouch for him.
“I was extremely calm yesterday with my meeting with Pelosi and Schumer, knowing that they would say I was raging, which they always do, along with their partner, the Fake News Media," Trump tweeted Thursday.
Trump on Thursday also used a press conference about aid for U.S. farmers to call on several White House aides, who were present at the infrastructure meeting, to back up his claims about his behavior in the meeting.
"Does anyone know Sarah HuckabeeSarah SandersTrump expected to resume rallies in June Andrew Giuliani planning run for New York governor Trump appears at Sarah Huckabee Sanders campaign event MORE Sanders?" Trump asked the room to laughter. "Sarah, we're just talking about the meeting yesterday ... the narrative is I was screaming and ranting and raving … just out of curiosity, you were there, what was my tone at the meeting?"
Sanders responded that Trump was "very calm, I’ve seen both and this was definitely not angry or ranting."
