In a tweet, Cruz posted an image of the series's titular subject, Joseph Maldonado-Passage aka "Joe Exotic," as Netflix's response to his boredom during self-quarantine.

Days after its release, the Netflix series "Tiger King" is currently the most-watched title on the streaming service in the U.S., according to the company's daily rankings, as millions of Americans are working from home or otherwise not reporting to work during the coronavirus outbreak.

Cruz himself entered self-quarantine for a week earlier this month after it was revealed that he interacted with a convention attendee who tested positive for the virus.
