Read: Senate GOP’s controversial Biden report
The Republican chairmen of two Senate committees Wednesday released a report on their investigation focused on Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, a move they hope will put fresh scrutiny on the former vice president just weeks before the November election.
The controversial probe was spearheaded by Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).
It is focused broadly on Obama-era policy and Hunter Biden’s work for Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings.
