Fox adds Trump Hispanic Advisory member as contributor

Fox News and Fox Business have signed former Trump Hispanic Advisory Council member and Wall Street veteran Steve Cortes as a contributor, Fox confirmed to The Hill.
Cortes — who was regularly seen on CNBC’s “Fast Money” and “Halftime Report” as a market commentator — will provide economic and political analysis across both Fox Business and Fox News.
The Georgetown graduate is the founder of Veracruz, a consulting firm that provides real-time market research to brokers, dealers and hedge funds, according to his online bio.
{mosads}Cortes came on to President Trump’s National Hispanic Advisory Council in 2016.
Fox News and Fox Business have been active in hiring contributors as the new administration takes office.
In the past week, in addition to Cortes, Fox announced the signing of Nigel Farage, the former U.K. Independence Party leader and Brexit supporter, and Marie Harf, a Democratic adviser and former deputy spokesperson for the Obama State Department.
