Drudge Report founder Matt Drudge said Monday that any interview between special counsel Robert Mueller and President Trump should be televised.

“Mueller’s upcoming questioning of Trump should be televised!” the prominent media editor tweeted Monday. “Simply too much distrust in process. Grand Jury heavily stacked with Dem voters.”

Trump said last week that he didn't know if Mueller planned to interview him.

"I don’t know. I mean I — nobody's asked me to do that," Trump told Fox Business Network's Maria Bartiromo

Mueller impaneled a grand jury in August as part of the investigation into Russian interference in the presidential election and potential ties between Trump's campaign and Russia.

Mueller’s team has interviewed and examined evidence from several members of Trump’s campaign and administration as part of the probe.

Trump has repeatedly attacked the investigation as a “witch hunt.”
