Rep.-elect Jody Hice (R-Ga.-10)Jody Hice will replace retiring Rep. Paul Broun (R) in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District. A pastor, he also hosts “The Jody Hice Show,” a conservative radio program on his Culture and Values Network. In 2003, Hice came to public attention when he led an effort keep the Ten Commandments displayed at a courthouse in Georgia. Hice is also working with other pastors against an IRS rule they say will target churches’ tax-exempt status if religious leaders address political issues.

Hice grew up in Atlanta and has spent 25 years serving churches around Georgia. He and his wife, Dee Dee, have lived in Walton County since 1996 and have two adult daughters.
