Remember when the Italian mob aka la Cosa Nostra preyed on the American people, neighborhoods and families.

Think about this for a moment as portrayed in movies, pop culture and even in reality shows like “Growing Up Gotti.”  Clearly illegal and beyond the norms of society, America experienced the underbelly of a group that preyed  on the American community using crime to achieve their goals.

Yet their illegal activities in many ways were less a danger than the anti-American left in America. The mob in many ways wanted a successful America where they could profit and that meant capitalism.

The anti-American left wants to destroy America as it exists and remake it into a pseudo socialist country with mob rule, not a constitutional republic. Democrats can deny it, but the leadership has taken so many hard left turns on policies that it’s a circular firing squad with traditional liberals in the middle.

The Declaration of Independence established the foundation of our culture. The U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights are our legal DNA. The institutional left must destroy these to achieve their goals.

The existence of a constitutional Supreme Court is a threat to their goals. Decisions and precedent setting cases have for the most part refuted the Obama presidency and conversely, in only two years, upheld Trump’s policies like the travel ban.

Former President Obama said that fearmongering does not work as he does exactly that in a recent campaign stop in Pennsylvania. He proposed, for example, that Republicans only favor the rich yet ignored the positive results of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in that state for many and a growing number of residents.

Cruz is a public figure and his wife aware or the risks of going out publicly in this highly polarized political environment. But what about the restaurant owner and the other diners. The left does not care. By any means necessary is the norm today.
