We need a rebellion not a revolution in America. If the rebellion is unsuccessful, I fear what a revolution would look like. It would be bloody and deadly. That said, I still believe that our constitutional republic will prevail in either scenario.

First let’s make an important distinction or two between rebellion and revolution. A rebellion is the action or process of resisting authority, control or convention. A revolution, a term we hear all too often, is the forcible overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system.

Two revolutions are key to where we are today as a country and as a global community. The American Revolution grew from a demand for freedom to provide freedom for those within our borders and territories. As a result of the American Revolution, Americans have traveled to far lands to fight for and secure freedom for others while demanding nothing in return except land to bury our dead.

Another revolution that affects the world today is the Marxist revolution, which was and is a class struggle expected to lead to political change and the eventual triumph of communism. As a result of successful Marxist revolutions, the world suffered through the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) regime, led by men who could only be qualified as dictators and mass murderers. Another result of the Marxist revolution brought us the current Chinese Communist Party, which for the last 100 years has also engaged in mass murder and expanding its reach to the detriment of many nations across the globe.

The true number may never be known and even estimates are up for debate, but the Bolshevik plague, the Chinese Communist Party and other communist regimes in Eastern Europe, North Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia and Cuba have produced 100 years of communism and 100,000,000 dead. This is the greatest catastrophe in human history.

Now in America, communist-founded, -inspired and -led organizations and movements are working to change a constitutional republic into a socialist, communist paradise. There is no such thing as a socialist, communist paradise. It is the great lie that has killed more than any other type of regime in world history.

In the most recent example of those fighting for freedom, across the island of Cuba under the boot of a six-decade communist dictatorship people protested for simple things such as food, medical care and basic human rights. In Miami I went to see and experience this for myself with my wife and our friends who grew up under communism in Albania and now fear for America’s future.

Unlike the Marxist-led riots by antifa and Black Lives Matter for the past year plus in this country, this protest was peaceful but loud and clear in a demand for freedom. Protesters did not wave the Chinese Communist Party national flag which does not represent the true history of China over thousands of years. The protesters carried Cuban and American flags.

Some of the elected officials and political parties in America are to blame for driving socialism towards the goal of communism. They can wrap it in any imagery, words or descriptions they want to deny but it simply isn’t true. For example, the Democratic Socialists of America of which Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-CortezAlexandria Ocasio-CortezGrassley pressured to run as Democrats set sights on Iowa JD Vance takes aim at culture wars, childless politicians Poll: 73 percent of Democratic voters would consider voting for Biden in the 2024 primary MORE (D-N.Y.), Rashida TlaibRashida Harbi TlaibOmar reflects on personal experiences with hate in making case for new envoy House passes bill requiring EPA to regulate 'forever chemicals' in drinking water Ohio becomes battleground for rival Democratic factions MORE (D-Mich.), Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) and Cori Bush (D-Mo.) are members supports Cuba’s communist regime against those demanding freedom. The DSA international community declared its solidarity with the revolution. They also echoed Cuba’s president Miguel Diaz-Canel blaming America’s trade embargo for the unrest. In the Senate, Bernie SandersBernie SandersGOP sees debt ceiling as its leverage against Biden Democrats brace for slog on Biden's spending plan To break the corporate tax logjam, tax overinflated CEO pay MORE (I-Vt.), the self-described democratic socialist, also criticized the United States but not the Cuban communist dictatorship.

These elected officials and other established and active socialist, communist organizations in America are not to be taken lightly. They have many others in the fight to change our nation and are backed by heavy funding from the likes of George Soros.

We need to rebel against critical race theory, which has its roots in critical theory written by Karl Marx as a strategy to change societies.

We need a mask rebellion. The mask religion does not follow the science. We need a mask rebellion by people, corporations, businesses and elected officials. No reasonable person denies that COVID-19 kills, but we are destroying our country for an infinitesimally small number of deaths, tragic though they may be.

We need to put aside our apathy, cynicism and political discontent to rebel against a system that gives too much power to those elected to serve who make a career out of their existence and less of their service.

We all have different positions, abilities and levels of influence as Americans. We all need to rebel as capable and become a nation of constitutional activists to restore conservative principles and governance. You all have a choice to make and you don’t have time to wait for someone else to fight. If you sit idly by, someone else will likely make a choice for  you and you may not like the choice that’s been made.
