Clinton herself laughed as she delivered the line during her acceptance speech on the final night of the Democratic National Convention.

"I believe climate change is real and that we could save our planet while creating millions of good playing clean energy jobs," Clinton said.

Clinton's laugh line recalled a surreal scene at last week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

Rock band Third Eye Blind played a concert there, antagonizing GOP partygoers with between-song banter.

"Raise your hand if you believe in science," singer Stephan Jenkins said last week, mocking the crowd.
