The former vice president's next film will premiere at Sundance Film Festival in January, the Associated Press reported.

Paramount Pictures said the new film will focus on the continued rise of global warming and how to address it.

“A decade after we took a risk in backing a film centered around a slide show presentation and one human’s quest to awaken global consciousness about our changing planet, we are proud to bring global audiences a promising update: that a future powered by clean, safe, renewable, inexpensive, non-polluting energy is no longer a dream but a very attainable reality," Jeff Skoll, the film’s executive producer, told USA Today.
