Livestrong recruits new lobbying director

Armstrong recently admitted to doping and was stripped of his biking titles.

Krier previously worked as senior director of policy analysis for the Texas Hospital Association.

Before that, she advised former Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas) on healthcare issues, with special attention to the Affordable Care Act and the 21st Century Cancer ALERT Act.

"We are excited to welcome Cameron to our team," David Lofye, Livestrong vice president of government relations, said in a statement.

"Her experience will be an incredible asset for the LIVESTRONG Foundation in its support for federal cancer funding and health policies that allow patients and survivors throughout the United States to thrive during and after cancer."
