President Trump and the GOP would face more blame than Democrats if health-care costs increase and Americans lose their coverage, according to a new survey.

An NBC News/The Wall Street Journal poll finds 50 percent of Americans surveyed would put blame on Trump and the GOP if health-care costs rise under ObamaCare and more people lose coverage.

Just 37 percent of respondents said they would put blame on Democrats and former President Obama.

Among Republicans, 24 percent say they would blame Trump and Republicans for rising health-care costs and an increase in the number of people uninsured, while 65 percent would blame Democrats.

Nearly three-quarters of Democrats, 72 percent, would blame Republicans, compared to just 20 percent who say they would put blame on Democrats and Obama.

The poll of 900 adults was conducted Oct. 23-26 and has a margin of error of 3.3 percentage points.

Republicans have failed to repeal and replace ObamaCare, a key agenda item for President Trump. Trump last week tweeted that Democrats would "own it" if ObamaCare premiums rose.

"As usual, the ObamaCare premiums will be up (the Dems own it), but we will Repeal & Replace and have great Healthcare soon after Tax Cuts!" Trump wrote in last week's tweet.
