U.K. health minister Nadine Dorries said she has tested positive for the coronavirus and is in self-quarantine at home.

“I can confirm I have tested positive for coronavirus,” she said in a statement to British media outlets. “As soon as I was informed I took all the advised precautions and have been self-isolating at home.”

“Public Health England (PHE) has started detailed contact tracing and the department and my parliamentary office are closely following their advice,” she added.

Six people have died from the coronavirus in the U.K., which has a total of 382 cases.

Health secretary Matt Hancock tweeted that he was “really sorry” Dorries tested positive and that she “has done the right thing.”

“I understand why people are worried about this disease. We will do all we can to keep people safe, based on the best possible science,” he added.
