Four U.S. service members were reportedly injured and at least four Afghan citizens have reportedly been killed in a Friday car bomb attack in Kabul.

A spokesman for U.S. Forces in Afghanistan told Reuters that a car bomb struck a U.S. convoy, causing four service members to sustain minor injuries. According to Reuters, the attack was claimed by the Taliban and follows an ISIS attack near a military training academy that killed at least six people.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid reportedly said in a statement that 10 people were killed and two vehicles were wrecked in the attack on a convoy of "senior foreign advisers."

The explosion reportedly created smoke and debris.

The Taliban has been in discussions with U.S. diplomats over a possible withdrawal of U.S. and NATO troops.
