The Russian embassy in Washington, D.C. is asking Twitter users which U.S. diplomatic facility it should close in response to the Trump administration’s move to expel dozens of Russian diplomats.

“US administration ordered the closure of the Russian Consulate in Seattle @GK_Seattle,” the embassy wrote in a tweet.

“What US Consulate General would you close in @Russia, if it was up to you to decide[.]”

The Twitter poll comes after the Trump administration announced early Monday its decision to expel the Russian diplomats over the poisoning of a former Russian spy in the United Kingdom. The U.S. is also closing the Russian consulate in Seattle.

“With these steps, the United States and our allies and partners make clear to Russia that its actions have consequences,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.

“The United States stands ready to cooperate to build a better relationship with Russia, but this can only happen with a change in the Russian government’s behavior,” she said.

Russia has denied involvement in the poisoning of the former spy, which both the United Kingdom and the United States have blamed on the Kremlin.
