Net-neutrality regs needed to protect porn, man 'of freaky tastes' tells FCC

The self-described "man of freaky tastes" said he does not want his porn options limited by Internet "gatekeepers."

"Without vital net neutrality protections, companies like Verizon and Comcast, which have a commercial incentive to limit the free-flowing Web, can decide whether I will have a voice online. These companies should not have the power to determine my fate on the Internet. Don't let them take the internet away from us," he wrote. "Consider this: without net neutrality, telecom companies will get to decide which porn sites you have access to."

It could either be a net-neutrality advocate who believes he has identified the magic bullet for his cause, or an opponent of broadband regulations parodying net-neutrality activists. Either way, seems a safe bet that this argument's persuasive powers will go untested as regulators mull. View the comment here.
