House considers bill to streamline FCC reports

Members will vote on H.R. 3310, the Federal Communications Commission Consolidated Reporting Act, sponsored by Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) under suspension of the rules. The bill is meant to cut down on the number of reports the commission is required to submit to Congress under the Communications Act.

{mosads}The bill was originally passed out of the Energy and Commerce committee at the same time as the controversial Federal Communications Commission Process Reform Act, which easily passed the full House but isn’t on the Senate calendar.
