The Federal Trade Commission has announced a new acting chief technologist.

Neil Alan Chilsen, an advisor to acting Chairwoman Maureen Ohlhausen, will fill the role on an acting basis.

“Much of the FTC’s work occurs at the intersection of rapidly changing technology and consumer experiences, implicating complex legal and policy issues,” Ohlhausen said.
