A legal overhaul to Europe’s main telecommunications law, which will take effect in May, forces national regulators to define “reasonable” management practices for Internet traffic, the article says.
The law also “prevents operators from blocking or slowing specific
Internet services or Web sites, and requires phone companies to disclose
their network management practices to consumer,” according to the article.
