Successful, fast-paced, boutique health policy consulting and lobbying practice seeks motivated, team-oriented, and independent policy analyst with demonstrated commitment to a health policy career path to contribute to comprehensive, in-depth analysis of legislative and regulatory developments in the sector.

The new hire will have office space on Capitol Hill with the option to work from home as desired. Job Responsibilities
• Provide high-level, strategic consultation to health care clients including Fortune 50 companies, nationally recognized heath systems and foundations, health plans, life sciences companies, investment firms, industry coalitions, patient groups, and other stakeholders
• Perform in-depth analysis of Federal health policy legislation and regulations
• View and summarize congressional hearings, MedPAC and MACPAC sessions, and other relevant health policy events
• Actively participate in in-person, telephonic, and video-based client conferences
• Monitor Federal health policy sources for client-relevant developments
• Research and draft in-depth memoranda on current health policy topics
• Contribute to all aspects of firm strategy, including business development, marketing, social media, partnerships, etc. 
• Author issue briefs, participate in webinars, and contribute to published articles on current health policy topics 
• Attend conferences to further professional development
• Minor (<5%) travel component for client and team meetings, conferences, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years employment with Federal government or law, policy, or consulting firm in a position focused on health policy analysis
• Fluency with core health policy topics, including Medicare, Medicaid, Affordable Care Act, etc.
• Superior written and oral communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and efficiency, including under tight deadlines
• Sophistication use of MS Office applications
• Demonstrated creativity with social media and other communications tools
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and independent – eager to assume full responsibility for executing tasks necessary to deliver elite client service
• Driven, growth-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent, service-oriented interpersonal skills, positive attitude, collegiality, and flexibility
