Special Assistant to the President

The Washington Center (TWC) is currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Special Assistant to the President who is passionate about gaining insight into leading a high-performing, high-impact nonprofit organization. In this role, you’ll provide a high level of project and administrative support to TWC’s President. Successful execution of this position requires strategic thinking, flexibility, a keen attention to detail, excellent technology skills, strong verbal and written communication abilities and effective time management strength. The ideal candidate will exercise confidentiality, good judgement and bring a customer-service and problem solving mentality to this role, both anticipating needs before they arise and responding rapidly when they are surfaced.

The Special Assistant to the President will help keep the President on track by anticipating how to prioritize precious time, and facilitating important connections to people within and outside the organization. The Special Assistant will be a welcoming “front door” for people, internally and externally, who want to connect with the President.
