Bombardier seeks a Senior level defense lobbyist for its Washington, DC government affairs office. The Senior Counselor, Government Affairs – Defense Programs position will help develop government affairs strategies for defense programs and advise senior company leaders, build relationships with key stakeholders and committees in the U.S. House and Senate, and support the business development team with outreach to U.S. military service branches, program offices, and industry partners. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience having served in the US military, worked on Capitol Hill for a defense committee or member office handling ISR programs, and/or have prior experience lobbying for a major defense contractor. Deep knowledge of the defense industry and a Top Secret clearance required. Position is located in Washington, D.C.
