The Director will articulate NAMI’s key policy positions and advance priorities for mental health coverage, financing, and quality in Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial health plans. The Director will also work to advance policy goals for mental health recovery services and supports.

Digital Strategist and Grassroots Director

The Digital Strategist and Grassroots Director will be a senior member of the Corporate Communications Department, responsible for driving the strategy and execution of DraftKings’ grassroots advocacy campaigns.The Digital Strategist and Grassroots Director will harness the passion and loyalty that DraftKings’ customers have for playing daily fantasy sports into a groundswell of advocacy to support the passage of DFS legislation.The successful candidate will excel in developing cross-channel digital campaigns that include email strategy and segmentation, social media and content development. She / he will be an expert in channel management, message formation, content curation, digital advocacy advertising, audience building, community management and analytics.

Refugee Policy-Fellow for Persecuted Religious Minors

Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), is seeking a Refugee Policy-Fellow for Persecuted Religious Minors who will assist the Advocacy Office in expanding its capacity to conduct outreach to the new Administration and the 115th Congress, on religious minorities who are fleeing persecution. Reporting to the Refugee Advocacy Officer, you will engage with LIRS staff members and LIRS constituencies, networks, and coalition partners.Located in LIRS’s Washington DC Advocacy office, this a part-time (less than 20 hours per week) opportunity for a duration not to exceed six months with an expected state date of January 2018. The intern will be compensated $15 per hour and is not benefits eligible.
