Watch live: White House holds news briefing after Las Vegas massacre

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will answer reporters’ questions Monday afternoon after a gunman opened fire on the crowd at an outdoor country music festival in Las Vegas late Sunday, killing at least 58 people and injuring more than 500 others.
President Trump earlier Monday condemned the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history as an “act of pure evil” and announced he would visit the grief-stricken city.

Sanders’s news briefing is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
