White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is set to answer reporters' questions Tuesday afternoon.
The briefing is Sanders's first since the release of former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman's new book "Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House."
Explosive claims in the memoir — such as the allegation that recordings exist of President Trump using racial slurs during tapings of "The Apprentice" — have dominated the news cycle since late last week.
Manigault-Newman paints Trump as unstable and unfit for the presidency in the tell-all, which was officially released Tuesday.
Trump has clapped back at Manigault-Newman on Twitter, calling her a "dog" and a "lowlife."
The briefing, also the first since Trump returned from a week of vacation in New Jersey, is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.
