NJ Gov. Christie shouts down protesters at campaign stop

{mosads}Christie went on to blame President Obama for the “confusion” about job creation.

“If she wasn’t so blinded by her Barack Obama-induced anger, she’d know that American jobs are coming back when Mitt Romney is the next president of the United States,” he said.

The hecklers were likely members of or inspired by the “Occupy Wall Street” protest movement, according to various reports. Members of the movement have interrupted various campaign events, often painting Romney as a symbol of corporate greed.

Christie stepped in after protesters interrupted Romney’s campaign speech. Romney had also addressed the group earlier in the event taking place at Exeter High School.

“It’s wonderful to live in a country where people can express their views openly,” Romney said of the protesters. “We’re happy to have you guys express your views. Next time, do it with more courtesy.”
